DIR Ramamoorthy Natesan

Mr. Natesan Ramamoorthy obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Madras University, India in 1971 and joined the Nuclear Sciences & Engineering Training School Course of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Upon successful completion in 1972, he joined the Radioisotope Programme of BARC as a Scientific Officer and obtained his M.Sc. (1977) and Ph.D. (1988) in Chemistry from Bombay University, India. During 1972-2003, he was involved in various research & development and management activities in the field of radioisotope production, radiopharmaceuticals and radiation technology in BARC and in Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT) and participated in many projects of the IAEA. He was the Chief Executive of BRIT and Associate Director of Isotope Group, BARC, when he was appointed Director of the Division of Physical and Chemical Sciences in 2003.
