The eLearning courses are free and anyone can join, at any time. The system tracks your progress thus saving valuable connection time. If you haven’t already done so, register now (http://elearning.iaea.org/ATutor/registration.php).

Background on the eLearning courses
The eLearning courses aim to accelerate capacity building in food safety and environmental protection, and to ensure that all participants in FAO/IAEA sponsored training courses, Booksworkshops and TC projects have the necessary pre-requisite skills. In addition, eLearning is much more than taking a course from a remote location: eLearning means being in contact with other students and mentors through specific forums and developing networking skills. Feedback is welcome through course evaluation polls and sending comments to the eLearning managers.

Success
The launch of the eLearning system has been a great success, as shown by the feedback of the workshop participants and the new eLearning students as well as by the rapid increase in the number of registered students and site visits (http://elearning.iaea.org/ATutor/statistics/index.htm).
