About 10 training courses, workshops and seminars organized by PBG & PBU each year at ABL and elsewhere in the world in Member States. More than 100 trainees from developing countries have participated in these training courses. In addition, the Plant Breeding Unit (PBU) hosts more than 30 fellowships, scientific visits, interns and trainees per year. The PBU also provides a broad range of specialized services to developing member countries on mutation induction and efficiency enhancing bio-molecular technologies as a support to the programmed activities.
