Subject: k0-IAEA version 7.16

Dear all,
best wishes for 2014! May all your gamma-ray spectra reveal the concentrations you would like to see.
In May 2013, I spent two weeks at the reactor in Rabat, Morocco, where I worked with Hamid Bounouira and Khalid Embarch to get the k0-IAEA software going properly in their setting. In the process, we discovered various details that needed improvement. Also after I returned home, there were a few weeks of intense testing and programming.
So as a result there's a new version of k0-IAEA, we are now at 7.16.
You can download it from the usual place:

Subject: New version of k0-IAEA- version 7.15 - smaller uncertainties!

Dear all, Early in May 2013, I spent two weeks in Rabat working at CNESTEN to get k0_IAEA going there.
Such intense use resulted to a number of improvements, especially useful ones this time because the reported uncertainties by the program have decreased substantially.
Check out the update document in the .zip update set so find out why!
Also, I am now providing two different versions of the program, one for Windows XP, and one for Windows 7.
The download .zip is available at www.rid.tudelft.nl/~blaauw

best regards,

dr. M. (Menno) Blaauw

The Windows-7 compliant version of k0-IAEA is available for downloading from www.rid.tudelft.nl/~blaauw. The software has improved in many respects, from peakfitting to the decay schemes and the K0-values themselves. In the update files, you will find the list of improvements made.

K0-IAEA 5.22 available here. Please read this before you do anything else.

Please note that update 5.20 must be installed on an already installed K0-IAEA. The full installation version (4.04) is available here. Please download the .zip file, extract and read the readme.txt.

The update can also be downloaded from Mr Menno Blaauw's website, where you can find some more information.

Click here to download the K0-IAEA tutorial, a Powerpoint presentation with video and sound files prepared by Menno Blaauw under an IAEA research contract. This tutorial is compressed into a zip file (IAEA_K0-tutorial.zip). To view it, please extract all the content of the zip file and then execute the play.bat file.

Here you can find the version 5.00 K0-IAEA manual in pdf.

We encourage new users to contact Mr Menno Blaauw (m.blaauw(at)tudelft.nl) to be included in the mailing list for updates and other important developments, as well as for any technical question.
