General Information

Co-ordinated Research Projects (CRP) represent the IAEA mechanism for supporting international research efforts to achieve specific research objectives as defined in the IAEA programme on Water Resources . The results of such projects are made available to users in the Member States.

A CRP typically involves 8-10 participants, each of them being a research team from a Member State, for a duration of 3-5 years. IAEA provides financial support to 2-3 Research Co-ordination Meetings (RCM), and small research grants for participants from developing countries.
