The map of the conference site shows the Palais de Nations with the Assembly Hall and the Exhibition Site, constructed for the Conference.

The exhibtion site was used by 17 countries and one institution. The biggest contributions came from the major players in the fields of research : the US, followed by the USSR, UK and France. The US invested the by far greatest effort into their exhibtion with 5 million US$ and therefor, the US exhibition, was very well received by the public and the researchers.

Also included is today's map of the Palais d'Nations - the current Conference site for the IAEA Fusion Energy Conference 2008, 50 years after the 2nd Geneva Conference.
