(TH/P8-5) A Possible Model for Non-Local Electron Heat Transport

Abstract.  In the present model, the non-local electron heat transport is theoretically studied from both microphysics (electromagnetic electron temperature gradient instabilities) and macrophysics (global power relation). The condition of core electron temperature rise in low density plasmas is obtained and compared with experiments. Qualitatively, the present results are in good agreement with those observed in experiments.
